Responsibilities

NRP Investments, LLC is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician in Cleveland, OH.  

 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

This is an entry-level position that does not necessarily require past job experience, but does require a passion for technology and the desire to excel in this fast-paced industry.  The IT Help Desk Technician is responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting computer problems for employees, fulfilling new hardware, software, and peripheral requests, and assisting other IT resources in project specific support needs.  Technicians may provide assistance in person, through email, or over the phone.  The technician will be required to utilize a service desk system for tracking of customer needs.

Essential Functions Statement(s):

  •         Provide support as first point of contact for any issue throughout the organization. Escalate as appropriate.
  •         Perform on-site technology setups and troubleshooting on an as-needed basis.
    • Technology including, but not limited to, computer and network devices, AV equipment, low voltage wiring.
    • Travel up to 30% - including locations within the company’s Eastern portfolio.
  •         Identity Management (Active Directory and security/access integrations)
  •         Desktop and laptop builds and management.
  •         Identify reoccurring issues and help devise solutions to prevent them.
  •        Follow assigned on-call schedule.
  •         Assist in analyzing outstanding help desk items.
  •        Assists with complex and high-priority support issues.
  •         Assist in asset management for entire company.
  •        Carries out supplementary IT Tasks, such as various technology installations, project assignments from systems or network engineers, and third-party vendor interaction.

Qualifications

SKILLS & ABILITIES

 

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in computer related area of study preferred.

 

Experience:  0-2 years of various technical support roles experience.  Applicable education with experience in test environments will be considered as well.

 

Driver’s License Required: Yes

 

Other Requirements:  Up to 30% travel on an as-needed basis.
