NRP Investments LLC is currently looking for a Manager of Events and Engagements in Cleveland, Ohio. 



The Manager Events & Team Member Engagement at NRP will be a successful, enthusiastic, and experienced event planner that produces events for 10 to 500+ attendees in a way that invigorates, energizes, and even changes lives.  This position manages activities from conception through completion ranging from small gatherings like lunch-and-learns to mid-sized market-wide events like company picnics and new property grand-openings, to full-scale annual national meetings.


This performer also develops long-term strategies and sponsors key initiatives to promote and achieve a culture of excellence and employee engagement.  Through a spectrum of creative events, gatherings, “happenings” and communications, this performer builds the NRP brand, enhances internal communication, advances team education, grows employee engagement, and fosters NRP team alignment.  These activities also serve to provide examples of large-scale thematic content development, flawless technology integration, and world class program execution.

Essential Functions Statement(s):

Technical responsibilities include:

  • In collaboration with internal clients, lead all aspects of strategy, planning, communications, and execution of events including but not limited to, annual NRP national meeting, functional meetings like “Build” for the Construction Team, company events and regional events across business units.
  • Apply best practices and continuous improvements in event planning and execution:
    • Liaise with internal clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Organize facilities and manage all event details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, and event communications.
    • Meticulous event planning, design and production.
    • Coordinate with production teams and vendors to deliver once-in-a-lifetime impact
    • Consummate professional in pulling off VIP experience events, often for CEO and other Principles.
    • Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals
    • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
    • Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities; on the large annual meetings, may work with outside resources to supplement internal meeting planning resources
    • Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize event
    • Conduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomes
  • Lead the development and execution of calendar of employee engagement events.
  • Play prominent role in leadership of NRPCares committee that is focused on NRP community involvement and outreach.
  • Other projects as assigned


Education:  College degree in the area of communications, event planning, liberal arts, or related field.



  • Five or more years of experience in event planning up to 300 to 500+ attendee level; with events and activities showing range of sizes and purposes.
  • Track record of delivering amazing end-to-end attendee experience at various types of events, both in-person and virtual.
