NRP Investments LLC is currently seeking an Assistant Development Project Manager in Cleveland, OH 




The Assistant Development Project Manager (ADPM) helps bring multifamily affordable developments to life, working together with the Developer and the Development Project Manager on every aspect of the project from concept to reality. This covers all lifecycle stages of the tax credit property lifecycle including pre-development, development, LIHTC funding, groundbreaking, construction and transition to property management as the community moves towards the stabilization phase.

The ADPM reports to the Director of Development Project Management, and successful performance in this role has solid potential to lead to career opportunities in development project management at The NRP Group. 


Essential Functions:

  • Apply (LIHTC) - Assist with preparation and assembly of Low Income Housing Tax Credit and gap financing applications, including generating checklists and project plans
  • Analyze - Generate detailed analysis of funding documents
  • Collaborate - Engender trust and respect of partners (both for-profit and nonprofit), Limited Partners, consultants and third-party professionals to create responsive and effective relationships
  • Project Manage - Understand and help manage the critical path within each Project timeline
  • Communicate - Assist in development department’s communication with NRP Contractors to ensure that pre-construction survey, engineering and architectural tasks are seamless within conceptual project timeline
  • Coordinate - Coordinate on various due diligence items with other members of NRP's Design & Entitlements division. Timely and consistent processing of all team meeting minutes, invoices, etc.
  • Represent - Attend specific Housing Finance Agency committee meetings and training seminars to solidify relationship with Housing Finance Agency
  • Other - Other tasks as assigned

  • Affordable Housing -- Must possess an interest in affordable housing.



Education:  Bachelor’s degree preferred


Experience:  1-3 years working in a professional, real estate related environment preferred


Technical Skills:  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Effective communicator – verbally and written – with a diverse audiences.


Driver’s License Required: Preferred
