NRP Investments LLC is currently seeking a Marketing Content Specialist - Communications & Public Relations in Cleveland, OH.  




The key function of the Marketing Content Specialist – Communications & Public Relations is to build the NRP brand through compelling written communication that reflects the mission, vision, values, accomplishments, and actions of The NRP Group for key stakeholders both inside and outside of the company. This is accomplished through external public relations, internal communications, reports highlighting the progress of business performance and company culture, industry awards submissions, website content and many other forms of communication.

  • Public Relations –Create ongoing content on topics including new development milestones, company performance, thought leadership, company awards and many other topics. Plays key role in developing story ideas and angles, writing article briefs to direct the agency, writing original articles, conducting interviews, securing approval for quotes, and crisis management communications.
  • Industry Awards – Leads the industry awards and ranking submission process for NRP, including all divisions and the company. This includes helping drive the annual strategy for what awards NRP will pursue, gathering the data and information, writing the award submissions, making the actual application for the award, and tracking results.
  • Internal Communications -- Serve as the key resource for teams across the company to develop compelling internal messaging. Teams include Human Resources, the Diversity & Inclusion committee, the NRP Cares Team, NRP Business Units, and the NRP Executive Team, among others.
  • Environment-Social-Governance (ESG) Annual Report – Lead cross-functional team to develop annual report on ESG and related topics. Primary resource for copy and content of report, including CEO letter, case studies, performance metrics, report outs on Employee Resource Group (ERG) activity, and other topics. Works with graphics team to create final report.
  • Annual “Yearbook” – Work with marketing team to develop compose annual NRP Yearbook, which includes CEO letter, featured property section and key themes and actions sections. Work with advertising agency to create final graphics format.
  • Executive Bios – Leads program to write and update executive bios throughout the organization. Bios are used on the website, in marketing collateral and in documents used to respond to RFPs.
  • Other Projects – Other projects as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, journalism, communications, or related field.
  • Experience:  2-5 years of professional experience
  • Background: Journalism or public relations experience a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Writing/Story Telling - Strong writing skills and storytelling.
  • Writing Portfolio - Strong portfolio of writing content across communication channels.
  • Working with Graphics Teams – Proven ability to work with graphics teams to turn copy and content into beautiful communications.
  • Business Intuition - Intuitive ability to capture what makes a business unique and convey it in a compelling fashion across communication channels.
  • Results Orientation – Exhibits drive to create growth; can show metrics from past accomplishment
  • General Skills - Proficient in Microsoft office suite; ability to produce presentations using PowerPoint and similar packages.
