Dan Brenner joined The NRP Group in 2018 as Deputy General Counsel and now serves as the Senior Vice President of Construction Administration and Deputy General Counsel.

In this role, he counsels NRP’s construction teams on strategies for project execution, completion, dispute resolution and risk mitigation. He also works closely with NRP’s construction and design departments in drafting, negotiating and enforcing construction agreements and manages a team of legal and administrative professionals. As Senior Vice President of Construction Administration, Brenner leads NRP Construction’s business operations and administrative functions, manages cross-departmental initiatives, and oversees the facilitation of NRP’s Supplier Diversity Program.

Prior to joining NRP, Brenner was a partner at Laurie & Brennan in Chicago where he primarily focused on construction law. He represented owners, developers and contractors working on a variety of projects including sports stadiums, multifamily developments, hospitals, hotels and more. Brenner holds an undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law.
