Max Whipple joined The NRP Group in 2019 as a Development Associate and now serves is Vice President of Development.

He is responsible for sourcing and entitling new projects, comprising everything from the land acquisition to the start of construction. He also works to build and foster relationships with public partners, government agencies and housing authorities. In his role, Whipple works on affordable housing  deals in the Houston and Coastal Bend markets. Since joining NRP in 2019, he has overseen the development of over 1,000 units in Texas.

Whipple graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor Chinese Language and Literature. He participated in NRP’s 2018 summer internship program and is involved in the Real Estate Council of San Antonio (RESCA) Leadership Program.
