Michael Manfred joined NRP in 2020 as the Vice President of Marketing.

He is responsible for overseeing all marketing activities for both the Market Rate and Affordable portfolios. He is experienced in implementing digital strategies, delivering revenue growth and leading diverse teams. Manfred focuses on leveraging the latest techniques in digital marketing alongside the tried-and-true marketing methods and has developed a marketing mix that is focused on driving qualified prospective renters into NRP community’s leasing offices across all markets. Manfred manages a team of over 10 marketing managers and associates in various markets across the country.

A multifamily industry veteran, Manfred has a rich background and unique experience in a variety of roles at AvalonBay, Forest City and Brookfield Properties. He has overseen marketing, revenue management, ancillary revenue, training and development and was responsible for the operations of 1,600 units in Chicago. He is an industry thought-leader who has spoken at NMHC, NAHB and NAA and sits on several advisory boards of multifamily vendors.

Manfred holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration focused on Management from Frostburg State University. He participated in the Executive Development Program and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011 and the Professional Development Series through the Weatherhead School of Management in 2017.
