The Viridian is a 321-unit wood frame apartment community with surface parking located in the Northeast quadrant of San Antonio. The development was originally proposed to complement the tax credit development that had been built next door which served a predominately veteran centric population. The Viridian provided similar amenities and services for moderate income veterans and the unique public-private partnership with the San Antonio Housing Trust Public Facility Corporation guarantees that half of the units are reserved for tenants earning at or below 80% of the area median income. The Viridian comprises nine three-story buildings with a one-story standalone amenity, fitness, and leasing center with pool and amenity deck. A three-hole artificial turf putting green is on site in partnership with the Valor Club Golf Course, a local golf club where persons with disabilities can enjoy golf while keeping the challenge of the game pure and uncompromised. Each apartment home features upscale adornments and fixtures such as tiger-stripe granite countertops and shaker-style cabinets, soft beige carpets in the bedroom, and contemporary lighting fixtures throughout.
