NRP Investments LLC is currently seeking a Sr. Construction Business Development Manager.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Vice President of Business Operations Construction, the Sr. Construction Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying the right multi-family construction opportunities and building long-term relationships with the right prospects. This role will be responsible for creating and executing on the multi-family business development strategy for an assigned region(s). This individual should have a proven success in the multifamily construction preconstruction environment. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be goal-oriented, and take a more organized and thoughtful approach to meeting customer needs and winning opportunities to work with them.
Essential Functions Statements:
Lead Creation and Evaluation
- Qualify bid documents from owner’s design consultants for completeness
- Communicate owner decisions and expectations relating to design, specifications, schedule, phasing, etc. to estimating
Construction Phase
- Assist with the preparation of handoff documents
- Join OAC’s or job walks as needed
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management or Civil related field (Ex: Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology) preferred, or equivalent work experience
Experience: 7+ years of experience in multifamily or wood frame construction projects with 3+ years specifically in business development or equivalent role. Must have stable employment history and proven track record
Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of Timberline, Bluebeam, Adobe and Onscreen Takeoff software, a plus
