NRP Investments, LLC is currently seeking a Learning & Development Coordinator to join our corporate team in Cleveland!

Essential Functions Statement(s):

  • Manages the pre-hire onboarding experience (once individuals have been cleared to start by Talent Acquisition) through at least day 45 of employment, including all communication with new hires and their managers

  • Develops and provides tools and resources to managers of new hires to continually enhance the onboarding experience; requests feedback regularly to determine improvement opportunities

  • Sets up system access for new hires, orders PPE and new hire welcome gifts, creates day one gift bags and handouts

  • Schedules orientation and other meetings for days 2-45, as needed, for new hires

  • Manages new hire training requirements in Workday, monitors completions, and follows up to ensure completion within required timelines

  • Follows up with new hires post orientation and during pre-determined intervals to determine program improvement areas and to provide additional resources as needed

  • Maintains materials for day one orientation and facilitates both in person and virtual sessions

  • Is proficient and knowledgeable of NRP policies, procedures, and software to assist employees, stays up to date on software changes and updates materials and presentations

  • Monitors and responds to correspondence in L&D mailbox

  • Develops and sends L&D Communications including marketing of programs, required completions and more

  • Provides program management support for both onsite and offsite programs to include selecting and organizing all logistics (facility, catering, materials, AV, LMS, meeting management, pre-work, post-work, etc.) linked to offering classroom, virtual, or digital courses

  • Assists with creation, upload and management of content in the online learning management system (LMS) and the creation, upload and management of policies and procedures in the online content management system (CMS)

  • Monitors completion of required courses across NRP and communicates with participants and managers to drive towards 100% completion

  • Manages day-to-day activities of multiple assigned projects, communicates status updates and preemptively identifies changes in scope of work to ensure appropriate planning measures are taken to assess scope change impacts.

  • Orders supplies and monitors and processes invoices for team

  • Manages special projects and other related duties as assigned.


    Education:  High School diploma required; some college preferred

    Experience:  1-3 years of experience in Learning and Development or Human Resources field preferred

    Technical Skills:  

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and online video conferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, GoTo Meeting)

  • Strong written and oral communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate and share information in a clear, concise manner with all levels of employees across the organization

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
