NRP Investments, LLC is currently seeking a Employee Relations Manager in the Cleveland, OH Office.
POSITION SUMMARY
The NRP Group has experienced significant growth – nearly tripling in size (300 to over 900 employees) in the last several years, with continued growth anticipated as we move through 2021. The ER Manager will take on a lead role in evaluating current processes and approach and developing a strategy for evolving the ER function. The individual in this position will provide managers in the business with guidance based on their expertise, including conducting investigations, advising on complex ER issues, interpreting policy and practices, and responding to complaints. The ER Manager will develop and execute sustainable, scalable initiatives and programs that effect long-lasting changes at all levels. The employee will work collaboratively with other members of the Human Resources team in a fast-paced environment to ensure that solutions are identified and implemented, and employee needs are addressed in a timely and effective manner.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field required.
Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of related HR experience, with at least three (3) in Employee Relations. In depth understanding of all aspect of employment and HR related laws, regulations, policies, principles, concepts and practices, including Title VII, ADA, ADAA & FMLA. Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies. Proven consultative skills, and the ability to assess sensitive and complex employee relations issues in a confidential, objective, and systematic manner. Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations.
Technical Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, able to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while delivering on commitments. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong team, interpersonal, and persuasion skills, with demonstrated ability to influence peers, senior leaders, and across organizational lines. Proficient with Microsoft Office.
