NRP Investments LLC is currently seeking a Development Administrator in San Antonio, TX!

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the SVP of Development, the Development Administrator supports the activities of the Texas development team including providing administrative assistance, drafting memos & communications, creating presentations, coordinating meetings & travel, and leading various support functions for 9% and 4% (LIHTC) deals. 

Essential Functions Statement(s):

  • Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on behalf of the development team

  • Provide services in connection with preparation and timely submission of funding applications, RFPs, and related submittals

  • Process invoices, check requests, and budget submittals for various developments

  • Track and process agendas and policies from various Texas governmental entities

  • Organize meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and preparing agendas

  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements

  • Review and gain comprehension of the QAP for Texas

  • Possess a basic working knowledge and guidance on rules, regulations, guidelines and requirements in Texas, both local and state

  • Engender trust and respect of partners, consultants and third-party professionals to create responsive and effective partnerships

  • Understanding of critical path and assigned responsibilities within and related to each project application and the Texas Development Team

  • Acts as an administrative assistant for department including scheduling meetings, preparing and editing Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents, filing, scanning, booking of travel, reconciling expenses and mailing documents

  • Any other tasks as assigned   

  • Skills & Abilities:

    Education:  Undergraduate degree required 

    Experience:  2-5+ years working in a professional, real-estate related atmosphere preferred; grant writing or paralegal experience also a plus; previous experience managing/working on LIHTC application process 

    Technical Skills:  Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

    Other Requirements:  Occasionally required work-weeks exceeding 40 hours during months with high application volume
