NRP Investments, LLC is currently seeking a Payroll Manager.

Come join the NRP Team at our corporate office in Cleveland, OH! This will be a hybrid role with flexibility to work from our downtown office and remotely.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Payroll Manager will oversee and support the payroll processes for The NRP Group. The concentration will be on payroll processing, process improvements, general ledger support for both payroll and benefits for our Accounting team, and reporting and analytics support for Human Resources and other internal departments.

  Essential Functions Statement(s):

  • Responsible for managing payroll processing operations by partnering both with our external Payroll vendor to ensure accurate and on-time payrolls.

  • Develops and produces payroll-related statistical reports and analytics to determine trends and improvements in NRP’s current Payroll process.

  • Ensures accurate and on-time governmental reporting and compliance.

  • Liaison with employees to address Payroll and other Workday questions and issues within a timely manner.

  • Partners with Accounting to ensure accuracy in general ledger reporting for both payroll results and benefit invoices.

  • Provides ad-hoc reporting support to the HR organization.

  • Partners with internal and external auditors by providing records and documentation in a timely manner.

  • Helps identify and implement process improvements that lead to automation for both the HR organization and NRP overall.

  • Monitors people transactions in Workday to ensure accuracy and timeliness of changes.

  • Reviews benefit vendor integrations for accuracy and ensures payroll funds are accurately distributed to vendors.

  • SKILLS & ABILITIES

    Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business, Human Resources, or a related field or equivalent experience.


    Experience: 

  • 3-4+ Years of Payroll processing or accounting experience including preparation, balancing, internal controls, and payroll taxes.

  • Experience with Workday preferred

  • CPP preferred.

  • Vendor Management experience preferred.
