NRP Investments LLC is currently seeking a Senior Benefits Analyst to join our team in Cleveland! This will be a hybrid role with flexibility to work from office and remotely.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Benefits Analyst is an integral part of the Human Resources team and reports to an HR Director. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of benefit plans and programs including vendor management, design, strategic planning, project management, compliance and communication. The Sr. Benefits Analyst also serves as subject matter expert (SME) and provides day to day support to managers and employees as needed. This position is also responsible for staying up to date on external market trends related to benefit enhancements and making recommendations to help NRP remain competitive.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for design, evaluation and enhancement of NRP benefits programs that attract A+ Talent and meet the needs of a diverse workforce across all of our markets.
Administers employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, deferred compensation and other supplemental benefit programs and coverages.
Provides timely response to manager and employee questions regarding benefit coverages and programs and/or directs them to self-service resources and tools.
Manages vendor relationships with benefits brokers which include ongoing evaluation with the goal of providing competitive offerings and efficiencies.
Oversees and monitors performance of vendors to ensure they adhere to established plan goals, deliver targeted results, and meet agreed upon service levels, smooth plan changes and efficient ongoing administration.
Assesses and analyzes current trends and financial performance of NRP’s benefit plans; provides regular reporting and strategic recommendations based on company and employee requirements and fiscal drivers.
Reviews benefit plan renewals and propose any necessary plan design changes to ensure effective and budget-sensitive benefit programs; negotiate with benefit brokers to determine best plans and rates for employee coverage.
Responsible for executing annual open enrollment activities including project management and an employee communications strategy – in partnership with Corporate Marketing/Communications team.
Manages the 401(k) plan, including planning quarterly meetings with the committee, as well as all ongoing employee communications, education programs, and vendor management with both the 401(k) vendor and the Investment Advisors.
Ensures company policies and protocols are in compliance with all relevant benefit regulations including ERISA, ACA and HIPPA.
Provides education & communication tools for existing as well as new benefit and wellbeing program initiatives and policies.
Supports HR compliance including conducting research and staying current on evolving laws impacting our employees, managers and stakeholders.
Stays up to date on all paid family leaves and time off requirements for all state and local municipalities; supports the leave process as needed.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience with at least two years of benefits experience. Compliance and leave of absence administration preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Experience with Workday a plus.
