NRP INVESTMENTS LLC is currently seeking a Talent Development Manager in Cleveland, OH.

The NRP Group has experienced significant growth – nearly tripling in size (300 to over 1000 employees) in the last several years, with continued growth anticipated as we move through 2021.


Partnering with the Director of Learning and Talent Development, the Talent Development Manager supports the growth and development of talent at all levels within NRP. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing the talent review, succession planning, and career pathing processes; and creating and executing various talent programs, competency modeling, career development initiatives, and other learning and development programs that align with NRP’s key business strategies and initiatives.

Essential Functions:


  • Partners with the Director of Learning and Talent Development to engage leadership and HRBP’s to regularly assess talent and identify opportunities to develop and deliver impactful talent solutions for employees.
  • Leads discussions with stakeholders to gain input that informs the creation of successions plans, programs, and initiatives to support the growth and development of talent at NRP.
  • Creates, documents, and delivers on talent programs that align with our short and long-term talent plans for the organization.
  • Develops and executes effective programs and initiatives that support the organization’s talent development objectives
  • Partners to design and facilitate high-quality leadership, manager, and professional development programs.
  • Ensures a high-quality experience with talent programs by managing the communication and coordination of pre, day of, and post programming needs.
  • Engages relevant stakeholders to gather feedback to enhance future programming.
  • Supports the design, execution, management, and tracking of talent programs.
  • Leverages organizational development concepts, methods, and tools to ensure maximum effectiveness of talent development programs.
  • Creates and implements ongoing programs in support of NRP’s core competencies.
  • Provides support on other talent development and organizational development processes and projects as needed.
  • Develops, documents, and tracks progress made on succession and individual development plans.
  • Evaluates and measures the impact of talent initiatives (talent pipeline, DEI, etc.)
  • Facilitates in-person and virtual-led workshops for talent at all levels within the organization.
  • Serves as a backup facilitator for New Hire Onboarding.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Minimum 5 years of prior knowledge and experience in HR, talent management, adult learning and education; previous leadership or HR work experience preferred.
  • Ability to maintain the integrity of the program while managing multiple stakeholder priorities.
  • Understanding of how leaders develop.
  • Experience with change management processes and projects.
  • Ability to create processes, review metrics and measure on-going review of processes for continuous improvement.
  • Growth mindset and an endless drive to study people through the lens of potential and opportunities for development
  • Ability to knowledgeably assess, plan, coordinate, and deliver custom talent development solutions at the individual and organizational level
  • Forward-thinker who is motivated and proactive in offering new ideas and solutions
