Colleen Drewes joined The NRP Group in 2022 and now serves as Vice President of Development for affordable multifamily efforts in New Jersey.

In this role, Drewes manages relationships with elected officials, landowners, brokers, attorneys, engineers, and community partners to help grow NRP’s affordable footprint in the New Jersey market.

Colleen has played an instrumental role in shaping the landscape of affordable housing in the state of New Jersey. Prior to joining The NRP Group, she worked with Community Investment Strategies, Inc. (CIS), The New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (HMFA), The Cooper Hospital Foundation, and New Brunswick Development Corporation (DEVCO). She has been involved in the development of several affordable housing projects in the state throughout her career.

Colleen is a graduate of Rutgers University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Douglass College and a master’s degree in Public Policy from the Edward J. Bloustein School. She has also been actively involved with various professional organizations such as the Affordable Housing Professionals of New Jersey (AHPNJ), the NJ Builder’s Association, and Professional Women in Building (PWB) Council.

Apart from her professional activities, Colleen also actively participates in community work, serving as a Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey member as well as her Township’s Little League and Economic Advisory Board. With her broad experience and deep knowledge of the multifamily housing industry, Colleen is a valuable asset to the affordable housing development efforts in New Jersey.
