Sophia Knight is the Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel at The NRP Group.

She joined the company in 2015 as a Legal Counselor. In her role, Sophia works within NRP’s internal Legal Department and with outside counsel to provide legal advice to the company at both the corporate and project level. She is instrumental in leading the legal side of the company’s development acquisitions and financing. Knight is also a valued member of the Women’s Inclusion Network (WIN) at NRP.

Knight brings over a decade of legal experience to her current role. Prior to joining NRP, she was an Associate Attorney at Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky in Pittsburgh. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Management with Distinction from Purdue University and her Juris Doctor with a Business Law and Financial Services concentration from Suffolk University Law School.
