Parsons Village was specifically designed with seniors in mind and offers newly built affordable two-bedroom spacious apartment homes with an array of features including fully-equipped kitchens, a large community room and patio, fitness center, computer center and planned activities. Parsons Village II also offers approximately 3,000 square feet of commercial space on Parsons Avenue, outdoor seating/dining, an on-street resident entry and a landscaped pedestrian walkway between Parsons Village I & II. This mixed-use development has resident access to the public sidewalk and bus stop fitting the recommendations of The South Side Plan (2014). The NRP Group partnered with the City of Columbus and Community Development for All People to develop Parsons Village.
This project is an ongoing effort to revitalize the South Side of Columbus by providing much needed affordable senior rental housing and leveraging the success of Southern Gateway Homes. The proximity to the Maloney Health Center provides access to necessary health services while ensuring seniors can live independently.
